Position Description

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) is a unique Christian ministry that provides technical and logistical support to approximately1500 partner organizations, operating in over 30 countries worldwide.  Our mission is to share God’s love through aviation and technology and our vision is for isolated people to be physically and spiritually transformed in Christ’s name.

Mission Aviation Fellowship has been meeting human needs for over 70 years, and has developed into a team of over 450 missionary staff families serving in both technical and support roles.  With a team of aviation professionals and a fleet of 130 aircraft, MAF transports Christian workers, medical specialists and patients, relief workers, medicines, and educational supplies to communities in the world’s most remote regions and places of deepest human need.  With groups of IT and communications specialists, MAF provides computer networking and communications net solutions to partners in many challenging locations.

In Canada, Mission Aviation Fellowship is a charitable organization located in Guelph, Ontario.  Our team sources specialist personnel for international operations, and provides support for the roughly 50 Canadian families that are presently serving in remote locations.

We are looking for someone, based in central or eastern Canada, who will actively recruit qualified Career, Short-Term, and Volunteer staff from eastern Canada to meet MAF's personnel needs around the world. This is essential to the continued growth of the work of MAF worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have great people skills, overseas mission experience, and a background in education or administration. Previous mission aviation exposure would be helpful, but is not required.  This is a full-time salaried position based from your home.  It requires a willingness to travel, to communciate the story of MAF to prospective candidates, and engagement with people to provide direction and gfrowth when required.  There is a requirement to do some administration of recruitment databases and reporting.
