Job Description: The role of Community Life Leaders is to build great staff community and intentionally disciple/minister to students. Responsibilities include promoting inter-staff activities, planning & executing staff events, leading Bible studies, ensuring the cleanliness of the dorm building, and supporting regular CORES with the students in their rooms. In connection to their work, Community Life Leaders will be responsible for a weekly Duty Manager shift, one-on-ones with students, leading weekly small groups. And continually spiritually encouraging and mentoring students. They will work together directly with the Community Life Director to help make this summer a safe and awesome one for all the students. Standard First Aid training is an asset.


 Be at least 22 years old

 G2 license with personal vehicle or a G license with or without a personal vehicle

 A passion for student ministry, a willingness to be a leader (sometimes the bad guy), and to exhort and correct students, while fostering and developing trusting and caring relationships. Creative, energetic, responsible and fun!

 Organized, disciplined, compassionate and approachable.

Muskoka Bible Centre's seasonal staff participate in Stepping Stones, a 2-4 month residential discipleship experience, which aims to bring youth towards maturity in Christ by Renewing their relationship with God, Connecting them to a healthy community, and Equipping them to do God's work. We recruit 100 + youth (15-25 yrs) for our spring/summer program. We provide life-changing experiences through practical service work, intentional training, leadership development and an encouraging community of believers. It is our hope to build up a new generation of God-directed leaders and equip all participants to actively serve the Lord in their home communities.
