Changes to Christian Careers Canada (2014)

A Complete Rebuild

Christian Careers Canada has been serving the Canadian Christian community since 2000 offering free Career posting services. The website has been rebuilt a number of times over the years. This year we have rebuilt the website from scratch offering a more robust system behind the scenes with the hope of serving you better - details are below.

Accounts for Employers and Job Seekers

Christian Careers Canada now offers free accounts for both employers and job seekers. When you create your account, you may choose what type of account you would like. Employer accounts can post career opportunities. Job Seeker accounts have more robust tools to search and bookmark careers.

Bookmarking Career Postings

New Feature: If you find a career posting you would like to follow up on - just bookmark it! If you create an account you can create your own bookmark list of career postings. Next time you come back - they will be easy to find!

Careers by Location

New Feature: Looking for a career in Ontario? British Columbia? Alberta? You can now get lists of careers by province!

Robust Search Functionality

New Feature: We have added a new career search. You can search by keyword, title or even location. Give it a try.

New and Faster Server

Christian Careers Canada has been built on a brand new web server. This will provide a more stable and faster service. Christian Careers Canada is hosted by Tyndale University.

Resume Service Removed

When planning the rebuild of Christian Careers Canada, we looked closely at the website statistics. When looking at the resume service, we noticed that people were creating resumes but the resumes were not being viewed by employers. In light of this we have removed the resume posting service. We are considering replacing this service with a basic Job Seeker profile with the ability to post a link to LinkedIn profiles. Your feedback is appreciated.
