Skills/Interests/Awards |
-I have extensive experience in leading worship in various capacities since the early 1980s, first on a voluntary basis and then I have been asked for the last four years to fill in on a paid basis at three different churches
-I have studied piano since my childhood and have loved singing in the church on teams, in choirs, and as a soloist. I usually lead worship while I sing and play piano, and I am quite comfortable playing digital keyboards as well.
I play flute, and have some experience playing on the organ.
I also love teaching piano on a part-time basis because I enjoy people and music, and I delight in developing the gifts that are within both children and adults.
I am passionate about worshiping God, and serving Him to the best of my ability.
I am very comfortable planning worship services, and am familiar with both contemporary and traditional music.
-I have strong organizational skills and love to plan in advance.
-I feel very strongly about the power of prayer, and its impact on the local church, and co-led a corporate prayer time for my local church for a year and half in 2001-2002 |
