Part Time Counselor:  London, Ontario                                                                                                                    

The Christian Counselling Centre is seeking a Counsellor, or Child Life Specialist, to provide Therapeutic Services in our London Office. Christian Counselling Centre is a faith based, non-profit, charitable organization with offices in Burlington and Lambeth Ontario that provides counselling services to the individual, family and community. The CCC aims to be a leading provider of Christian Counselling by promoting the blessings of the Christian Community as we seek to recover, restore and renew relationships between God and people, to the praise of His glory. As this position grows there is opportunity for the hours to increase to full time over a period of time. 

All candidates must:

• Have a Master’s Degree in Counselling, Counseling & Guidance, Psychology, Social Work or other behavioural science from an accredited university.
• Be Registered with a Governing Body – CRPO, College of Social Workers
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills (detail-oriented)
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Client Management software.
• The ideal candidate will also have:
• Experience, education or training in a Biblical counselling model.
• Three or more years of counseling experience.
• Speciality in counselling people who have experienced Trauma, as well an ability to work with younger children.
• Knowledge and experience with Female clients is an asset.
