Position Description

Immanuel Christian School is a growing JK to Grade 8 elementary school located in Oshawa, Ontario. Our vision is to educate, encourage, and equip students with godly character while providing a strong academic curriculum following current pedagogical trends.

We are seeking a French teacher for a variety of classes starting in September of 2024. There is flexibility in this role for part-time or full-time and some preference for choice of grades.

This position would involve all typical aspects of teaching French. The successful candidate must have strong organizational skills, be able to work as part of a team, is able to use the Ontario curriculum and demonstrate strong classroom management skills.  You will be mentored by another French teacher as needed. Above all, the candidate must be a Christian who loves to share the love of God with children.
