Position Description

We have two language ministry at our church.  Korean and English language.  We are perhaps seeking a very rare, gifted, and called pastor to help with our Senior Pastor.

Our Korean ministry has existing Korean services and cell group activities.  We are seeking to build our cell group meetings for our Seniors- who only speak Korean, as well as younger cell groups in their 40's, who prefer Korean speaking pastor. 

Then we have our English language ministry which we are embarking to grow a multi-cultural, multi-generation, multi-race church.  Currently, we have street evangelism team that goes out every week in our church neighborhood to invite new people to our church.  As a result, we do get visitors who have never been to church come to worship.  Our desire is hire a pastor who can specifically minister and instruct, teach about Jesus Christ so that we can retain, train and disciple these people to become strong believers in Jesus Christ.

We want a pastor who has a passion to reach out to new comers as well as existing seniors in our church and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are seeking a pastor who is willing to work with and build evangelism team as well as outreach team to further reach out to the neighboring people.

Our church is located in an area which has numerous new condominium development where thousands of people have recently moved in.  

Potential pastor should have bible college education and/or currently attending seminary.  As well, be able to speak Korean and English.

This position will start off as part time 25 hours per month but aim to grow into full time position.  Salary to be discussed upon successful interview.  Candidate should be able to work in a team environment with other current pastors.

Must be lawfully in Canada and have Permanent resident status and legally be able to work in Canada.  Also be able to communicate in English and conduct bible studies with those who are new in faith.
