Job Posting – Associate Lay Pastor

St Christopher’s Anglican Church is seeking a passionate full-time Associate Lay Pastor, the lead pastor to the English congregation, to help grow our church and minister to the changing needs of our English congregation.

We are a vibrant Parish of Chinese heritage with an English-speaking congregation in the heart of Richmond Hill.   We have a strong sense of mission and are committed to sharing the Gospel, nurturing believers, caring for each other and serving the community. Our English Ministry has a dynamic worship music team, Sunday school, and youth group.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with children, youth and young adults.  Previous experience will be an asset.

The Associate Lay Pastor is responsible for leading English Sunday worship, regular preaching, overseeing adult small groups, youth group, youth outreach program, and children ministry, working with lay leaders to provide vision and direction for the English congregation, equipping members to become ministers of Jesus Christ and provide leadership in reaching out to the community. The ability to work in collaboration is important.
