Position Description
The Camp Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the running of day camp for elementary school-aged children throughout the summer. Before camp begins, they will plan the themes (including theme-based crafts, activities and games) promote the camps to the neighbourhood community, create weekly camp schedule, plan and implement pre-camp training for group leaders. During the weeks of camp, the camp coordinator will supervise and guide the group leaders (primarily high school students) direct the day-to-day running of the camp, ensure all safety standards are met, oversee proper and respectful use of facilities and resources.
