Position Description

Chapel Ridge is a growing church on the outskirts of Ottawa.   It is filled with people from every demographic, children right through to seniors.   Chapel Ridge is a church that is passionate about showing the love of Jesus to the community around it.   We have a need to grow deeper in relationship with one another as we have grown quite quickly over the last few years.   We are looking for someone who can help build into the small group ministry of our church.   

The Connections Pastor is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the adult congregation is connecting with one another and building community through a strong, healthy, and growing small group ministry.

Help establish a way to engage people who are seeking Help establish a path forward for new believers Help integrate believers into the full community life of Chapel Ridge This includes development and execution of an annual growth plan, group leader identification and recruitment, small group curriculum development, discipleship plan for new believers and ongoing leadership and coaching of group leaders. Working with the welcoming team to ensure people who are new find a way into small groups.
