Position Description

Positon Purpose:

Work directly with our pastor to develop materials needed to survey and evaluate the current perceived needs of Chatham. Our goal is to better understand our community so that we can develop effective ministry resources that engage individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thames Christian fellowship is a dynamic congregation deliberately planted on the east side of Chatham Ontario.  Chatham is a city of 40,000 people and poised strategically within an hour drive of Sarnia, London and Windsor.

We desire to be a church that unchurch love to attend. We are passionate about family, friendships and finding our calling. We are committed to loving everyone, always and extending the hope and grace of Jesus to our neighbours near and far.

Time Commitment:

 3-6 Month Commitment
40 hrs per week

Core Responsibilities

Engage in researching the community of Chatham using existing methods of information – i.e. Chamber of Commerce, demographics, neighbourhood groups, public agencies, private agencies.

Assist in the development of research tools needed to gain an adequate understanding of current perceived needs within the City of Chatham.

Employ various methods of information gathering in order to gain an accurate and timely understanding of the needs facing members of our community.

Document and report findings as well as recommendations to aid in effective community engagement.

This is presently a self-supporting missionary position
