Athletes in Action (a division of Power to Change) is a ministry that seeks to help people know Jesus and experience his power to change the world through sport. Position Overview

The Youth Initiatives Program Coordinator will work to fulfill the mission of Athletes in Action by assisting the Regional Director in the implementation of Action Camps and/or Action Clubs and/or other community based sports initiatives. They are to assist in the areas of: the execution of sport initiatives; the maintaining and tracking of relationships with local churches and community sports groups; the administrative support necessary to carry out an Action Camp and/or Club program.

  • Position Type: Full Time or Part-Time (10 – 40 hours/week)

Primary Objectives:

  1. Assist in establishing and maintaining a schedule of Action Camps
  2. Assist in establishing and maintaining Action Club opportunities for athletes

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • You have the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of ways (written, spoken, virtually)
  • You have administrative skills
  • You have a working knowledge of Google’s G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Sites)
  • You have an understanding of and passion for the athletic world and the integration of faith and sport

**Funding for this position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses.
