Job Posting Villa Nova Baptist Church is looking for a Full Time Pastor.

Who we are:

Villa Nova Baptist Church is located in the village of Villa Nova and is supported by an average of 50 congregants drawn from local and surrounding areas. The church was founded in 1850 and is affiliated with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ).

We are associated with and support our local Baptist Camp, Camp Oneida. We have an active Men’s Bible study and Women’s Bible study, as well as the Women of Faith who support local missions. When the schools have Professional Development Days we host PD Day Camps bringing in 20-25 children to learn about Jesus and have fun. Our summer worship services are held outdoors which is a great outreach to the community. Villa Nova is a short drive from Waterford, Simcoe, Port Dover and Brantford.

Qualification and Expectations:

• Minimum of 3 years of pastoral experience Ordained with the CBOQ, or possessing the qualifications to be credentialed by the CBOQ Canadian Citizen, residing in Canada and is willing and able to relocate to the area Bible believing with a desire to preach and teach from the Scriptures
• Effective communicator Able to: challenge, equip, empower and inspire hope and excitement, encourage congregation to grow and mature in their knowledge, relationship, and commitment to Jesus
• Works collaboratively with the Council and Deacons Administrative and basic computer skills
• Musical abilities a plus Counselling and visitation to members and adherents at home or in hospital as needed, conduct weddings and funerals Participate with the local Ministerial
