Overview of the Role

As the Music Ministry Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, and administering a vibrant and comprehensive music ministry that enriches the worship experience and supports the broader corporate activities of our Church. Working in collaboration with the Senior Pastor, you will provide strategic leadership and supervision to a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals within the Music Ministry.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Doctrinally-sound who applies the teaching of the Bible in his or her daily life.
• Has a disciplined prayer life and is consistent in the study of God’s Word
• A “sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money… dignified, not double-tongued” (1 Timothy 3:2-3, 8)
• Possess family-centred Christian values and one who honors his or her parents and sibling(s) and if married, righteously leads his household (as husband), or supports husband’s leadership and partners with him in managing their household (as wife)

Overview of the workplace

• Attire: Casual when in the office – We want you to be comfortable at work.
• Area: In person. Our office is in Eglinton Avenue East and Midland Avenue

What You Bring to the Role:

• Born-again Christian of reputable character
• holds a degree in Music and work experience in conducting music.
• Preferably an active member of CABC (if a member of another Christian Church, he or she should be willing to transfer membership to CABC)

Possesses satisfactory level skills in:

• Conducting, playing musical instruments such as piano and guitar
• Planning, coordination, and organization
• Verbal and written communication
• Must be dynamic, flexible, and adaptable in a cross-cultural and multi-generational church environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
