We're looking for an exceptional social media strategist to dive into our approach to social media: a content creator ethos applied to business socials.

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating social media strategies, content, and schedules for client and Algonquin Digital social media accounts
• Collaborating with other members of our creative team to plan and create high-quality, engaging content
• Designing and creating video, graphics, and photo posts and other content and creative projects
• Managing social media accounts (including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), with the goal of ever-increasing targeted reach and meaningful engagement across client and Algonquin Digital social media accounts.
• Other responsibilities as required

The ideal candidate:

• Enjoys social media and understands viral content
• Appreciates and understands high-quality production and visual media
• Keeps up on current communication trends, including an awareness of what is current and trending.
• Has an eye for graphic design, photography, and catchy visual media
• Has strong people skills
• Is self-motivated, consistent, and highly organized
• Enjoys contributing to a passionate team
• Is excited about our values
• Is excited about joining a growing, creative team and company and investing long-term

Location:

This is a largely in-person position working from our Huntsville, ON office, with possibly occasional remote work (to be discussed).
