Evening Receiver (Part Time – 20 hours a week)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• The Evening Receiver is designed to manage incoming donations while being ambassadors to donors of Mission Thrift Store Hamilton. 
• The Evening Receiver will be directly responsible to the Store Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Activities:

• Receive, sort and organize incoming donations
• Ensure items are saleable before accepting them
• Keep department tidy and organized
• Assisting customers
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge

The Evening Receiver must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

• Must have retail, labour and warehouse experience

OTHER EXPECTATIONS

The Receiver will be working in a labour position in the warehouse; both indoors and outdoors.  Will require some Saturday work hours.
