Position Description

Restoration Church Kelowna is a cutting-edge, Spirit-filled, prophetic church committed to seeing families transformed by the power of Jesus. We believe children’s ministry is not a stepping stone, but one of the most vital callings in the Kingdom. We are seeking a dynamic pastoral couple to pioneer and lead our Children’s and Family Life Ministry.

This role is for visionaries who carry a deep love for children and families, are filled with the Spirit, operate in the gifts of the Spirit, and desire to see a generation raised up in the prophetic and power of God.

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
• Benefits package and ministry expenses to be discussed in interview process

Qualifications:

• A Spirit-filled couple with proven ministry experience.
• Strong belief in and practice of the gifts of the Spirit, prophecy, healing, and deliverance.
• A clear sense of calling to children and family ministry.
• Innovative and creative leaders with the ability to build, train, and release teams.
• Strong pastoral and relational skills to disciple parents and children.
• Alignment with the vision, culture, and values of Restoration Church Kelowna.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee Children’s Church services during 2 weekly services, bringing Spirit-filled teaching, worship, and prophetic ministry to kids.
• Conduct weekly family visitations to disciple, encourage, and build relationship with parents and children.
• Develop and run Parent Equipping Classes, helping families grow in faith and Spirit-led living.
• Launch and oversee Family Life Outreaches into the community, creating opportunities for evangelism and prophetic ministry.
• Build, train, and mentor teams of volunteers for children’s ministry and family support.
• Create innovative and cutting-edge strategies to engage children and families in a prophetic, Spirit-filled culture.
• Work alongside pastoral leadership to ensure children’s and family ministry is fully integrated into the life and mission of the church.
• Provide pastoral care, prayer, and prophetic ministry for children and families.
