Position Description
The Role: Co-Host, The 700 Club Canada Television Program
The Christian Broadcasting Associates, Inc. (CBA) is seeking an experienced, creative, and engaging individual to join our team. The 700 Club Canada Co-Host will serve as on-camera talent for 700 Club Canada programs and other platforms, including social media and public speaking opportunities.
The Co-Host will report directly to the Executive Vice President of CBA and will work closely with the 700 Club Canada production team
Main Responsibilities include:
- Co-Host The 700 Club Canada television program and serve as on-camera talent for other CBA productions.
- Co-Host’s responsibilities will include pre-production preparation, on-camera performances, meetings, consultations, audio recording, voice-over recording time, social media hits, and post-production of The 700 Club Canada programs.
- Research and coordination of guests for The 700 Club Canada program.
- Other responsibilities include creating and producing engaging digital content, social media content, podcasts, on-location production, newsletters, etc.
- Support CBA in marketing and fundraising endeavours.
- Other duties as required.
As the ideal candidate, you will have the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to The 700 Club Canada’s principles of Christian faith, mission, and values as stated on their website www.700club.ca/statement-of-faith
- A degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communication, or the equivalent experience.
- 3 - 5 years working experience in hosting.
- 3 – 5 years working knowledge of TV production and post-production is preferred.
- Experience in Christian ministry.
- Good command of the English language with the ability to communicate professionally with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge on a broad range of topics.
- Interviewing skills – i.e., preparing for and interviewing guests on a variety of topics and issues.
- Experience in script writing and video production is a plus.
- Ability to self-manage and be well organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, fast-paced environment, multi-task, and frequently adapt to change.
