Position Overview:
Interested in Serving in Missions?
We are seeking part-time volunteers to assist our team with various tasks, administrative support, and more. This is ideal for high school students looking to earn volunteer hours or for church small groups seeking creative volunteer ministry opportunities. Join us as an individual or as a small-group team! Come and help support those serving in missions in different fields around the world. Volunteers may be asked to help with:
Responsibilities:
Facility & Grounds Support:
- Raking leaves, light yard work.
- Assisting with general cleaning and organizing projects
- Painting and odd jobs around the building
- Administrative Support:
- Filing, sorting, and organizing office materials.
- Connecting with former workers for re-engagement purposes
Historical Project Work:
- Reviewing and cataloging historical photos and records.
- Conducting basic research to help identify and reconnect documents with descendants or family members of past missionaries.
- Helping digitize and preserve materials for archival purposes
Prayer Support:
- Come pray in our building for 1 hour per week.*
Qualifications:
- Your belief and practice are consistent with a life that showcases the saving and transforming work of Jesus Christ
- Agreement with SIM Canada’s Statement of Faith and Values
- Appreciate and have a passion for global missions
- A heart for service and a desire to glorify God through practical work
- Providing a cheerful, willing attitude in any task that supports the ministry
