Kitchen Coordinator
Kitchen Coordinator
Burlington, Ontario , L7T 2E9
Position Description
About Us
As an expression of Forestview Church Without Walls’ local outreach missions, we oversee an initiative called Next Door Social Space (NDSS). NDSS comprises two social enterprises: Rolling Horse Community Cycle (RH) and Next Door Community Kitchen (ND). These two programs foster human connection, promote healthy living, and address social and spiritual challenges for those experiencing varied levels of poverty and marginalization in our community. ND offers free meals and community engagement programs, in a hospitable environment where all are welcome. Both RH and ND operate under the leadership of FV and receive operational support from the church alongside a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
Forestview Church (FV) is a non-denominational congregation of 300+ people in North Oakville, Ontario. Founded in 1993 we exist to be a place where people meet Jesus and become more like Him. We are an independent, missional, evangelical church that collaborates with other like-minded congregations across Canada and we are a member of Vision Ministries Canada. As a church, we are committed to incarnational missional ministry throughout the Halton region.
Why do we exist?
To be a community where people meet Jesus and become more like Him.
