The Summer Pastoral Internship at Garrison Road Church provides students with a wonderful opportunity to discover their gifts and calling, gain meaningful pastoral experience, and earn money to help with tuition costs.

Garrison Road Church is a warm, welcoming, multi-generational community in Fort Erie. With a dedicated full-time pastor and an average weekly gathering of over one hundred members, we come together to support one another on our faith journey. Our mission is to help people walk in the steps of Jesus through worship, teaching, community, evangelism, and acts of compassion. Garrison Road Church is part of the United Brethren Church in Canada (www.ubcanada.org).

The summer intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the Senior Pastor and truly immerse themselves in all facets of pastoral ministry. They’ll be involved in Sunday morning worship, delivering sermons, engaging with small groups, supporting the kids' and youth ministries, helping out with VBS, assisting at the kids’ clothing bank, connecting with young adults, and participating in prayer meetings and visitations. It’s a wonderful way to gain diverse and meaningful experience.

• Reports To: Senior Pastor
• Employment Status: Full Time (40 hours/week), Paid Hourly ($18.50/hr)
• Duration: May through August
