The 700 Club Canada is a dynamic 30-minute daily television program that airs coast to coast in Canada. As the flagship program of The Christian Broadcasting Associates, Inc., The 700 Club Canada is a mix of powerful stories of real people whose lives have been radically changed by the power of Jesus along with devotional segments and interviews showcasing what many Canadians believe.

The Role: Production Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and dependable Production Assistant to support the day-to-day operations across production, post-production, and/or on-set needs. This role is ideal for someone who has television/film production knowledge or experience and wants to grow within the industry. The Production Assistant serves as a key support role between departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Location: Toronto, Ontario
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday - in office, 5 days a week
  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000

Production Support Responsibilities:

  • Assist producers, coordinators, and department heads with daily production tasks
  • Manages and maintains production calendars to ensure accurate tracking of guest bookings, testimonies, and scheduled use of production spots
  • Creates detailed show rundowns and selects testimonies that align with each episode’s theme or featured guest
  • Writes episode descriptions, prepares monthly media sheets, and submits required SOCAN documentation
  • Maintains and updates Google Docs to accurately track prayer requests, partner comments, and praise reports
  • Handle runs, errands, and pickups as required by production needs
  • Assist with set operations, including setup, breakdown, and clean-up; ensuring set remains clean and organized
  • Support talent and crew needs while maintaining discretion and professionalism
  • Organize paperwork, releases, and production documents
  • Assists with scheduling and meeting coordination
  • Other duties as required

Technical & Software Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of television production and post-production workflows
  • Familiarity with PC Windows and macOS: Google docs, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Zoom, Frame.io
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to The 700 Club Canada’s principles of Christian faith, mission, and values as stated on their website www.700club.ca/statement-of-faith
  • Good command of the English language with the ability to communicate professionally with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and anticipate needs
  • Ability to follow instructions and incorporate feedback
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced production environment
  • Previous production experience preferred
  • Film, television, or media studies background a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
