Position Description

Trailview Alliance Church (Trailview) is seeking a collaborative and creative leader who is passionate about seeing children encounter Jesus and authentically live out their faith by loving others. Working closely with the Lead and Associate Pastor, the Children's Pastor will lead teams of volunteers in creating environments and activities that lead children and their families into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you are a self-starter who loves building teams and helping children and their parents encounter Jesus, then we'd love to talk with you.

POSITION DETAILS

The Children's Pastor role is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with experience and education; the salary range begins at $60,000. The successful candidate will:

• Have a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus, marked by listening to Jesus through the Spirit and by spiritual maturity.
• Have a degree in children's ministry, education or theology.
• Strong leadership experience. Ability to recruit, equip, and mobilize volunteers for effective ministry.
• Experience leading in children's ministry.
• Be licensed or able to be licensed with The Alliance Canada.
• Be a Canadian Citizen or legally entitled to work in Canada.
