Our former Head of School, Mr. Richard Vanderpyl, will travel to Sydney (8-9 Feb 2026) and Melbourne (10-11 Feb 2026) to meet with potential candidates. Christian Alliance International School (CAIS), a non-profit making school wholly owned by the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance, invites applications for High School teachers for commencement in mid-August 2026, teaching subjects as follows:
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s) with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks' practicum required
- Teacher education / training accepted by Alberta Education
- Prior experience in teaching relevant major subject(s) in high schools and international schools preferred
- High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required
- While not essential, please state any IB or AP teaching experience
- Candidate embracing the values of Christian education preferred
Effective Date of Employment
The starting date for this appointment is mid-August 2026. Initial contract is normally 2 years in duration. Renewable 2-year contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.
