Position Description
We’re looking for an experienced live-sound technician to support Sunday church services in a rented downtown theatre environment. Ideal for freelancers seeking consistent, low-stress weekend gigs.
- Position: Audio / Sound Technician (Sunday Gig)
- Location: Every Nation Church GTA – Downtown Toronto
- When: 2–3 Sundays per month, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Where: Innis Town Hall, University of Toronto
- Pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience)
What You’ll Do
- Set up and tear down audio system
- Mix live sound during worship services
- Integrate church-owned gear with venue system • Work alongside volunteers and venue staff
Tech Setup
- Allen & Heath GLD80 digital console
- Venue-provided PA (amps & speakers)
- Wireless/wired mics, electronic drums, guitars • Dante audio networking (required)
You’re a Good Fit If You
- Have live-sound experience (church, theatre, or events) • Are comfortable with Dante and digital consoles
- Enjoy collaborative, team-based environments
- Are reliable and calm under pressure
