Position Description

First let me begin by greeting you. Hello and thank you for pursuing further this summer position at North Sauble Community Church. Our Church is located a block a way form the beautiful Sauble Beach. Our interdenominational Church welcomes all believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as they travel or live here all are welcomed.

My husband Tim and I have been hiring students each year for this Pastoral summer position which begins towards the end of May and continues to August. (specific dates will be confirmed).It is a wonderful experience for anyone going to school or has graduated from school with some university or bible college with primarily education in theology. The Pastoral summer student will be leading the entire Sunday morning hour service throughout the months of May and June. (with help and direction from mentors) The second main event of the summer will be working with children in a Vacation Bible School setting everyday from 10 am till noon. Our student will plan and prepare each day with a Bible story games and crafts. This is to be a learning experience in regards to God and the Bible but also a fun experience for all the children. There are other categories to this positions such as advertising vacation bible school, with pamphlets throughout Sauble. Custodial jobs such as taking care of garbage, mowing the lawn keeping the Sunday School room tidy. Buying snacks for the children and supplies for your program is all part of your everyday responsibility as Vacaton Bible School Leader and Pastor.

These are the two main factors to this job description.
