The Role: Hair and Make-Up Artist

The Christian Broadcasting Associates, Inc. (CBA) is looking for a highly skilled Hair and Make-Up Artist to ensure on-air talent looks polished and camera-ready for every episode. You will work closely with the Director, Co-Hosts, guests, and crew to create a natural, professional, and camera-friendly look that reflects the uplifting tone of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare on-air talent, including Co-Hosts and guests, with hair styling and make-up application suitable for studio and virtual appearances.
  • Maintain consistency of on-screen appearance across multiple episodes.
  • Adjust hair and make-up during live-to-tape recordings as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Producers to understand the visual style and tone of the show.

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Hair and Make-Up Artist for film, television, or live productions.
  • Must provide and maintain your own complete professional hair styling equipment, supplies, and make-up kit - ensuring cleanliness, suitability for broadcast television, and readiness for production.
  • Knowledge of camera-friendly make-up techniques and studio lighting considerations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse guests and on-air talent.
  • Ability to work efficiently and make quick hair and makeup adjustments during recordings.
  • Good command of the English language with the ability to communicate professionally with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with faith-based programming is preferred.
