Position Description

Immanuel Christian School is a growing JK–Grade 8 elementary school located in Oshawa, Ontario. Our vision is to educate, encourage, and equip students with godly character while delivering a strong academic program grounded in current pedagogical best practices.

We are currently seeking an OCT certified teacher for a full-time Grade 6 position for the remainder of the current school year. This role includes all typical responsibilities of a junior classroom teacher, encompassing instruction across subject areas, classroom management, planning, assessment, and collaboration with colleagues.

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate strong organizational and classroom management skills
• Possess a solid understanding of the Ontario curriculum
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Show a genuine love for children and a passion for Christian education
• Most importantly, be a committed Christian who desires to share the love of God with students in both word and action
