Generation Rising is a Christian organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Latin America through Christ-centred education. We partner with local schools and churches to provide high-quality education to children growing up in poverty, equipping them with the tools, faith, and opportunities to transform their futures.

Our supporters are deeply invested in seeing children thrive — academically, spiritually, and socially. As our community grows, we are seeking a Manager of Supporter Relations to build meaningful, personal relationships with mid-level supporters across Canada and help them increase their impact.

We are looking for a very specific kind of person to join our team at Generation Rising.

Not a “development officer.”
Not a spreadsheet fundraiser.
Not someone who hides behind email.

Instead, we are looking for someone who:

• Loves people more than programs
• Is energized by phone calls, coffee meetings, and real conversations
• Can build trust with supporters giving $1,000–$10,000 annually
• Naturally looks for ways to say thank you well
• Thinks long-term about generosity and impact
• Is deeply aligned with Christ-centred ministry
• Is self-driven and doesn’t need micromanaging
• Can take ownership and run with it

This role leads three key areas:

1. Our mid-level supporter program
2. Ongoing supporter stewardship (calls, engagement, connection)
3. Growing generosity through meaningful relationships

This is a frontline ministry role. It’s about helping supporters see the eternal impact of Christ-centred education in Latin America — and walking with them as their generosity grows.

This role would NOT be a good fit if:

• You prefer task lists over conversations
• You dislike making phone calls
• You need constant direction
• You see fundraising as transactional
• You’re uncomfortable talking about faith
