About Us

Camp Promise Barrie is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting under-resourced children and families through high quality after-school programs and summer camps. We believe every child deserves a safe, supportive space to learn, grow, and belong-regardless of their circumstances. 

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to join our Board of Directors. Board members provide governance, strategic direction, and oversight to ensure the organization fulfills its mission and remains sustainable and accountable. 

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings
• Provide guidance and support to the organization's leadership team
• Support fundraising initiatives and community outreach efforts
• Help set organizational goals, policies, and long-term plans

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. Ideal candidates may have experience in:

• Finance, legal, marketing, fundraising, or governance
• Community advocacy, equity, or working with marginalized populations
• Pastoral care, non-profit leadership
