Position Description

Knox Christian School is searching for enthusiastic Christian teachers to teach full or part-time role at our growing and grounded school with a history of nearly 70 years.  We are currently seeking teachers for the 2026-2027 school year to teach in our Junior and Intermediate departments. Grade-specific needs are currently being determined, but we are searching for top-notch talent for our dynamic teaching staff.  The successful candidates will exhibit mature Christian faith (and alignment with the mission and vision of Knox Christian School), the ability to exemplify that faith in the classroom and in their instruction, an excitement for rigorous and authentic student learning, and the ability to work well with a team.  Excellent rapport and communication with students and their parents is a must.  Candidates must possess a valid teacher’s certificate (OTC, or equivalent). Preference will be given in the intermediate department to those who exhibit a love and specialty for teaching Math.

Knox uses the Edvance/Vocate Compensation Report to determine annual compensation amounts. Annual average salary for teaching positions at Knox range from $45,000 to $96,000. This range is dependent on the applicants' level of education and years of teaching experience.
