Position Description
RefugeRoot is seeking a Project Management Volunteer to support the Foundation’s administrators in the planning, organization, follow-up, and coordination of various projects and activities. The volunteer will help ensure that initiatives move forward effectively by providing structured support to leadership and helping manage priorities, timelines, and tracking tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Support administrators in project planning and follow-up;
- Help organize tasks, priorities, and timelines;
- Assist in preparing or updating management tools such as action plans, calendars, tracking tables, meeting notes, and task lists;
- Support coordination between team members and various collaborators;
- Contribute to the administrative follow-up of selected files and initiatives;
- Help improve work methods, communication, and coordination processes;
- When needed, assist in preparing meetings, presentation documents, or progress reports;
- Perform any other related tasks in support of the Foundation’s activities.
Profile Sought
- Interest in project management, administration, or coordination;
- Training or experience in project management, administration, business, communications, or a related field is an asset;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Accuracy, autonomy, and professionalism;
- Ability to work well as part of a team;
- Comfort using basic digital tools;
- Interest in the nonprofit, community, or humanitarian sector.
