EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Every Home for Christ International/Canada (EHC Canada) is searching for a relational and visionary leader who is passionate about evangelism and missions to join their team as Executive Director (ED)!

The ED is a senior executive leader responsible for providing strategic, operational, and spiritual leadership for EHC Canada, under the mentorship of the long tenured President/CEO and Vice President. The ED is a builder who brings new energy, passion, vision, and implementation skills to help take the organization to the next level of impact.

The ED provides hands on leadership across ministry mobilization, fundraising and partner development, staff leadership, communications, and organizational operations through direct involvement alongside team members. This role requires a sleeves-up, servant-hearted leader with a clear calling to gospel ministry, strong relational and fundraising capacity, and the ability to translate vision into focused, sustainable action.

Every Home for Christ International/Canada (EHC Canada) is a Christ-centred, interdenominational mission organization committed to equipping and mobilizing believers to pray for the harvest and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with people everywhere. EHC Canada’s “Finding the Hope” outreach is dedicated to reaching people where they live and where they go with the gospel of Jesus Christ through prayer, evangelism, and follow-up that connects people with churches.

Founded in Canada in 1946, EHC Canada pioneered systematic gospel outreach—placing clear, gospel messages in print and digital formats directly where people live and go. Today, EHC Canada is part of a global fellowship of 170 national ministries united by a shared vision of reaching every home with the gospel.

EHC Canada operates as a lean, highly collaborative organization supported by a small staff team, contracted services, and a significant volunteer network. The ministry is headquartered in Guelph, Ontario and works closely with Canadian churches, individuals, and international ministry partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & ALIGNMENT

• Clear commitment to Christ and alignment with EHC Canada’s Statement of Faith.
• A demonstrated calling to evangelism and prayer-based mission.
• Post-secondary education, including formal theological training.
• Minimum of five years of senior leadership experience in a Christian ministry or charity.
• Proven fundraising and donor relationship experience.
• Strong communication, public speaking, and relational leadership skills.
• High integrity, humility, sound judgement, and collaborative leadership style.
• National travel for donor, church, and ministry partner engagement and occasional international travel, as required.

AUTHORITY & DECISION RIGHTS

• Exercise executive authority within approved policies and budgets.
• Lead staff and operations with delegated authority.
• Represent EHC Canada publicly as an authorized spokesperson.
• Escalate significant risks or policy matters to the President/CEO and board as appropriate.
