Position Description

Ladner Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Lead Pastor to guide our congregation through a meaningful season of rebuilding and renewal. LBC is a multi-generational congregation affiliated with Fellowship Pacific. We are located in the close-knit community of Ladner, about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. LBC has been serving our community for more than 125 years, with Sunday attendance of approximately 120-150 people and 200 or more on holidays. Priorities for this position are: 

• Provide effective and visionary leadership to help our church develop and discern our vision, including helping people become followers of Christ and live out discipleship in the whole of their lives. Our pastor will help point us towards living lives of self-giving love. 
• Be committed to helping people grow toward spiritual maturity. 
• Give guidance to unite us across the generations and to pursue our priority of maintaining a family-oriented heart for children and youth ministry.
