Program Coordinator

(Young Adult Position – Ages 18 – 30)

Description and Expectations of Program Coordinator Position:

• Believer and follower of Christ
• Work under guidance and supervision of the Grace Camp Director and ultimately the Lead Pastor and Session Members (elders of the church)
• Supervise and work with a team of Camp Counsellors and Volunteers
• Assist in Planning and leading the church programs/ ministries and group activities
• Working with Camp Counsellors, the Program Coordinators will actively lead, plan, and prepare various summer ministries at Grace Church two weeks in advance: Vacation Bible School (one week/ Mon-Fri/ Half-day), Drama & Arts Camp (two weeks/ Mon Fri/Full-day), Sports Camp (one week/ Mon-Fri/Full-day), Adventure Camp (two weeks/ Mon-Fri/Full-day), ‘Clean-Up’ week, and Camp Round-Up Sunday (August 16th, 2026)
• Actively participate in and organize the summer ministries Sunday services programs: Family Time and Sunday School (one Sunday) as well as bi-weekly Youth & Young Adult gatherings.
• Plan and prepare arts and crafts
• Plan, distribute and assist with snacks for children/youth
• Engage children and youth in various games/ activities and Bible lessons
• Seek to positively invest in the lives of youth and children
• Provide supervision to children and youth
• Participate in staff meetings
• Be involved in the life and community of Grace Church West Hill
• Participate in Leadership Training Program(s)

Camp Weeks:

• VBS Camp: June 29th - July 3rd (Half Day, Kindies - Juniors)
• Arts Camp (Week 1): July 6th - July 10th (Full Day, Grades 1-6)
• Arts Camp (Week 2): July 13th - July 17th (Full Day, Grades 1-6)
• Sports Camp: July 20th - July 24th (Full Day, Grades 1-6)
• Adventure Camp (Week 1): July 27th - July 30th (Full Day, SK - Grade 6)
• Adventure Camp (Week 2): August 4th - August 7th (Full Day, SK - Grade 6)

Duration + Hours: 2 weeks of preparation (approx. 20 hours per week) + 6 weeks of camp (approx. 40 hours per week) + Clean Up-Week + Round-Up Sunday (approx. 20 hours per week) at approximately $19.15/hr

Full Time Start/End Date: Sunday, June 14th, 2026 - Sunday, August 16th, 2026 Clean-Up Week: Monday, August, 10th 2026 - Friday, August 14th, 2026
