Full-Time Associate Pastor Position

Mount Hamilton Baptist Church (MHBC) is seeking a passionate and relational Associate Pastor to join our pastoral team and help lead our church in discipleship, pastoral care, and mission. MHBC is a growing, intergenerational church of approximately 300 people, with a strong desire to be welcoming, community-focused, and intentional in spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop discipleship pathways (small groups, Alpha, prayer initiatives)
• Provide pastoral care (visits, calls, prayer, crisis support)
• Foster connection and community engagement, especially with newcomers
• Support and equip ministry teams and volunteers
• Participate in Sunday services (preaching, leadership, volunteer management, presence)
• Help lead local and global mission initiatives
• Contribute to church administration and communication

• A committed follower of Jesus with a clear call to pastoral ministry
• Relational, approachable, and passionate about people
• Gifted in discipleship, care, and team leadership
• Organized, flexible, and able to balance people-focused ministry with administrative responsibilities
• Aligned with the vision and values of MHBC and the CBOQ

Qualifications:

• Theological education (MDiv or equivalent preferred)
• Ordained or willing to pursue ordination with the CBOQ
