Position Description

Philpott Church is looking for energetic and organized post-secondary students to join our team this summer. This role is designed to provide administrative, program, and facility support to ensure our community programs run smoothly during the busiest months of the year.

​Key Responsibilities

• ​Program Support: Assist in the planning and execution of summer camps, community events, and weekly services.
• ​Administration: Help maintain organizational calendars, update information boards, and manage digital communications or newsletters.
• ​Facilities Coordination: Support the coordination of building usage for various community groups and ensure spaces are prepared for events.
• ​Community Engagement: Act as a welcoming point of contact for members and visitors, providing information and assistance as needed.

​Qualifications

• ​Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• ​Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• ​A collaborative spirit and a willingness to serve in a diverse community environment.
• ​Proficiency with basic office software (Word, Excel, or Google Workspace).

​Position Details

​Duration: 8–12 weeks (May through August).
