Position Description
Insight Biblical Counselling, a growing and vibrant biblical counselling ministry, offers a safe place for clients to explore their behaviours, uncover the motives that influence these responses and come to know the Lord who is active in changing and renewing their lives. Insight’s main office is in Welland, ON, with satellite offices in Burlington and Flamborough.
The Director of Development will be accountable to the Executive Director with regards to establishing and fostering donor relations, overseeing fundraising events, collaborating with the Director of Church Relations regarding ongoing financial support from churches, and liaising with the Marketing Coordinator; additionally, he or she will support the Executive Director in a variety of operational and administrative tasks. The Director of Development will be integral to the ongoing growth and stability of the ministry of Insight.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will develop relationships with individual donors, local businesses and supporting churches.
- You will enrich and administrate a vibrant donor relations strategy.
- You will oversee and assist the planning and execution of all Insight fundraising events.
- You will manage budgets and expenditures for all ministry and fundraising events.
- You will manage fundraising volunteers and coordinate volunteer tasks.
- You will collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to generate monthly and annual updates for stakeholders and create promotional materials.
- You will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, assisting with varied tasks to ensure organizational efficiency.
- You will contribute to the ongoing growth and stability of the ministry by assisting in operational planning and implementation.

- Experienced & Equipped: You have post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or Business Administration. You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn and utilize other software programs.
