Position Description

The EFC Centre for Research on Church & Faith conducts Canadian-specific ministry research for affiliates of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. Whenever possible our research is done in partnership with our affiliates in response to their ministry questions. The Centre also serves the internal research needs of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada organization.

As a critical member of the CRCF team, this full-time research assistant supports the research activities of the team. The research assistant will be a committed follower of Jesus and actively involved in the life of the Church, preferably in an EFC affiliate congregation. Reporting to the director of the CRCF, the research assistant will be called upon to assist in qualitative and quantitative research tasks including, but not limited to, interviewing, qualitative coding, analysis, writing, and administration. The research assistant may also be called upon to travel within Canada for meetings, professional development and to present the Centre’s research to EFC affiliates.

• Salary range: $45,000 to $55,000
• Location: Ottawa
