Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)
8–10 hours/month | Remote | Contract Position
Edvance is a dynamic, not-for-profit industry association serving independent Christian schools across Ontario and the Maritimes. We support school leaders, educators, and boards through professional learning, leadership development, school services, and a strong network of relationships.
We are seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Coordinator to help share the stories, resources, and opportunities that strengthen Christian education. This is a flexible, remote role ideal for a freelancer, student, or creative professional looking to contribute meaningful work in a part-time capacity.
About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing and Engagement Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will:
- Design engaging and visually consistent graphics using content provided by Edvance.
- Schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure posts align with Edvance’s brand voice and visual identity.
- Maintain a consistent social media presence and posting schedule.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Engagement Manager to increase engagement and reach across social media channels.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience creating graphics using tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
- An interest in Christian education and a passion for storytelling.
This position is compensated at $25–30 per hour for approximately 8–10 hours per month.
Anticipated Start Date: Mid-August 2026 (flexible)
