Remuneration: Self Funded

Time Commitment: 3 years+

Purpose:

The Corporate Worship Pastor is responsible for the worship experience at ANCP. This role exists to cultivate a deep, authentic, and Christ-centered culture of worship in Spirit and Truth. By equipping, edifying, and
empowering the local body, the Worship Pastor helps the congregation carry the Gospel into their everyday lives.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Ministry Oversight:

Oversee the Sunday morning gatherings by providing clear leadership, vision, and direction for both the worship and tech teams. The Worship Pastor must possess strong musical abilities to actively lead the worship team. This leadership includes modeling diligent practice and technical growth as an act of
stewardship to offer our best skills to God.

2. Culture of Worship:

Take primary responsibility for creating, shaping, and nurturing a culture of worship within the church and throughout its various ministries, which includes creating intentional spaces, events, and environments where
the church can worship together outside of the standard Sunday morning service. The worship pastor will also equip the church to understand that lifestyle worship does not end with Sunday service, but continues
through obedience in workplaces and homes.

3. Volunteer Equipping:

Ensure all ministries across the church are fully equipped and trained in understanding volunteer scheduling and coordination systems.

4. Pastoral Care & Teaching:

Share in general pastoral duties, teaching, and caring for the flock of believers entrusted to ANCP

To provide additional clarity for this season of ministry, the following are the primary action items, as discerned by the Elders:

• Elevate the Sunday Gathering: Streamline the coordination between the worship and tech teams to create a cohesive, distraction-free, and spiritually engaging Sunday morning experience.
• Foster a Worship Culture: Develop initiatives, devotionals, or training that teach and encourage the congregation to live out worship as a daily lifestyle, rather than just a weekend event.
• Design New Worship Environments: Plan and launch regular worship-focused gatherings (such as worship and prayer nights) to provide new spaces for corporate worship.
• Standardize Volunteer Scheduling: Train ministry leaders across the church on best practices for volunteer scheduling to ensure all departments are fully equipped and volunteers are shepherded well without burnout.
• Establish a Ministry Planning Process: Create an annual timeline and planning framework for all corporate worship departments to ensure unified goals, teaching and training alignment, and clear communication. Ensure this framework includes using music as a mission to reach the unchurched in Phuket, making the beauty of Christ visible and audible to those who do not yet know Him.
