Position Description
NYMAC is seeking an enthusiastic individual to care for and minister to families with young children and teenagers, and to foster the growth of our children congregation by providing overall leadership to the Children Ministry.
The candidate should have a clear calling from God and a genuine passion for children. In addition to possessing the spiritual gifts needed for children ministries, the candidate should demonstrate maturity and ability to care for and minister to parents of children. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.
The candidate should be a team player who works well within a pastoral team and the Elder Board, and who collaborates closely with the Children Ministry team. He or she will provide spiritual nourishment, guidance, and mentorship to leaders, teachers, and volunteers.
Education: Degree from accredited Seminary or Bible College.
Experience: Previous ministry experience working with families and children.
