Position Description
Richmond Hill (Chinese) Baptist Church is seeking a Christ-centered, servant-hearted Assistant English Pastor with a passion for family and youth ministry. The pastor will support the English congregation by discipling youth, equipping families, preaching/teaching, and fostering intergenerational faith growth.
Qualifications:
- Mature Christian faith and calling to pastoral ministry
- 2 years experience in family/youth ministry is required
- Gifted in preaching, bible teaching and discipleship for family/youth
- Graduated in recognized seminary with MTS or MDiv. degree or equivalent
- Identify with the Baptist creed and system
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and a team spirit
- English-speaking (Chinese language/cultural understanding is an asset – but not a must)
