Position Description

We are currently seeking a High School Leader who will work with the Youth Team to help provide both ministerial and practical support to the youth of Island ECC, particularly those in High School (Grades 9 to 12), and to assist in effectively reaching un-churched and non-Christian youth of Hong Kong. This includes discipling, planning services, teaching, and lesson planning/creating curriculum for weekly small groups meetings and events, leading youth camps, participating in speaking engagements, and organizing city-wide events with the goal to assimilate the Youth into the church community and outreach around schools in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• This individual is a degree holder, Seminary / Youth Ministry / Youth Work preferred with minimum 2-4 years of relevant working experience open to candidates with internships or part-time / volunteer experiences.
• Approachable, high energy, and relevant personality is needed to outreach youth in ways that form disciples of Christ.
• Culturally literate and open to working with youth and volunteers from different denominational backgrounds.
• The candidate must be flexible and well-versed in social media communication tools.
• Fluency in English; Cantonese speaking ability is beneficial.
