We’re looking for a passionate, Jesus-loving leader to serve as our Next Gen Pastor, helping to lead and grow our ministry to children and youth. This part-time role (25 hrs/week) is perfect for someone who loves discipleship, values relationships, and wants to see the next generation encounter Jesus.

About Gateway Foursquare Church

Gateway is a growing, Spirit-led church in the heart of Campbell River, a beautiful oceanside city on Vancouver Island known for its outdoor opportunities and strong community feel. It's a great place to live, raise a family, and do meaningful ministry. Our Sunday gatherings currently welcome about 175 people across two services. Our youth ministry serves 40+ students weekly, and our kids ministry reaches around 20 children. We’re blessed with dedicated volunteers and a strong heart for reaching our city with the love of Jesus.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Loves Jesus and lives a life shaped by Scripture and prayer
• Has experience in children’s and/or youth ministryBuilds and equips strong volunteer teams
• Communicates well and offers pastoral care
• Cares about discipleship and outreach
• Has ministry training or related experience (formal or informal)

Responsibilities Include:

• Lead 2 weekly youth gatherings (Middle & High School)
• Support Sunday kids ministry teams
• Equip and encourage volunteers
• Teach the Bible and create discipleship moments
• Plan camps, events, and outreach
• Communicate with parents and church body
• Offer pastoral care to students and families
• Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and staff

Compensation

Compensation will range from $22–$27 per hour, based on experience, education, and qualifications—equivalent to approximately $28,600–$35,100 annually for 25 hours per week.
