Position Description
Trinity Grace Church in Osaka, Japan, is now seeking Christian volunteers from English-speaking countries who have a heart for missions in Japan.
We are especially looking for those who are passinate about supporting gospel ministry and outreach in a country where less than 1% of the population is Christian.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of a Reformed, Presbyterian, or Calvinistic church.
- Those from other denominations who support Calvinism are also welcome.
- Must hold citizenship of an English-speaking country that can enter Japan without visa,(USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia ) and be able to cover the cost of round-trip travel at their own expense.
Volunteer Period:
- 1 to 3 months
Main Activities:
- Assisting with children's English conversation classes
- Participating in local English-speaking community groups
- Attending Sunday worship services
Additional Information:
- Volunteers will have opportunities to sightsee in Osaka and surrounding areas.
- Accommodation is provided in a room located on our school premises.
- There is a local Japanese language learning group.
