The BCS campus backs onto the forests of the Grand River Conservation on the outskirts of Brantford, Ontario. When not in the classroom, you will often find our students building forts and discovering God’s creatures in “the Valley” that backs onto the school. 

About the Opportunity

Brantford Christian School is looking for a Principal who is an inspiring spiritual leader with a passion and commitment to quality Christian education, and who will cultivate the mission and vision of BCS. A principal at BCS will be called on to:

• Demonstrate a strong relationship with Christ and be an active member of a Bible-believing church
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, students, and the community
• Engage in transparent, ethical, and responsible leadership
• Lead staff members in defining, developing, and delivering learning for all students
• Provide leadership and insight for growth
• Be a spokesperson for the school to the community

Qualifications

• Christian School Teacher’s Certificate and/or Christian School Principal’s Certificate are an asset
• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) qualifications
• Successful completion of the Principal’s Qualification Program, along with previous administrative leadership experience
• Master’s degree in education is considered an asset, or working towards obtaining a Master's degree
• Prior teaching experience in and an understanding of the meaning and value of Christian-based pedagogies and methodologies
