Position Description

Veritas Psychotherapy and Counselling is seeking client-centred therapists to provide individual therapy for teens and adults and/or couples therapy. This is a part-time, independent contractor position with a hybrid model of in-person work at our Orillia, ON office and online sessions. Candidates must have availability for in-person shifts.

Job Summary

As a therapist with Veritas, you will:

• Provide individual therapy for teens and adults and/or couples therapy across a range of presenting concerns.
• Maintain clinical records and complete documentation in the clinic’s systems.
• Work within established operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth, professional care.
• Choose from a variety of available shifts — in-person (required) with the option of additional virtual sessions.

What We’re Looking For

• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
• Master’s degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline.
• Experience providing individual therapy for teens and adults and/or couples therapy.
• Training in trauma therapy (or willingness to obtain training) is an asset.
• Comfort with basic technology and ability to follow operational procedures.
• Valid professional liability and commercial liability insurance.
• Availability for regular in-person shifts in Orillia, with flexibility for online sessions.
