Position Description
ClearView Church is seeking an organized, creative, and people-oriented Communications & Administrative Coordinator to support church communications, administrative functions, and front-office operations. This role serves as a key point of connection for staff, ministry leaders, members, and visitors, ensuring clear communication and smooth day-to-day operations.
- Hours: Full-time role (32-40 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and create church communications, including emails, weekly E-News, website updates, social media, signage, and printed materials
- Serve as the primary front-desk contact, welcoming visitors and responding to inquiries
- Provide administrative support such as meeting minutes, database management, registrations, and certificates
- Assist with financial processes, event coordination, funerals, and large church events
- Support office operations, committees, Safe Church policy compliance along with executive assistance to Lead Pastor
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email platforms, and capacity to learn and work with various other digital platforms (e.g. Planning Center, Canva, etc.)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in a church or nonprofit environment is an asset
