Position Description

Graceway Wellness is a counselling practice rooted in a Christian foundation, serving adults and couples across Oakville, Burlington, Halton, and surrounding areas. Faith is a meaningful part of the clinic's identity and internal culture, while clinical work remains ethical, client-led, and respectful of clients from all backgrounds.

We are expanding our team and are seeking an Associate Therapist who values strong clinical work, ethical practice, and working within a faith-anchored professional environment while providing client-led care to both Christian and non-Christian clients.

The Role

This role focuses on adult individual therapy and couples counselling, functioning in a family-doctor style model — serving as a first point of care and collaborating with colleagues when specialized support is helpful.

Work may include virtual and/or in-person sessions, depending on fit, availability, and clinic needs.

Areas of Practice

• Anxiety, stress, and burnout
• Depression and low moodLife transitions and adjustment concerns
• Relationship difficulties, communication breakdowns, and conflict resolution
• Premarital preparation and marriage enrichment
• Client-led integration of Christian faith or spirituality when desired

What We’re Looking For

• Registered or qualifying psychotherapist or social worker eligible to practise in Ontario
• Experience or strong interest in couples counselling (EFT, Gottman, or equivalent training an asset)
• Comfort working in a Christian-founded clinic serving diverse clients
• Openness to collaboration and consultation
• Professional, ethical, and reliable clinical practice
• Availability to build toward a consistent caseload

• Caseloads are built gradually and sustainably
